Aleppo soap is among the oldest soaps in the world — the ancestor of the later Marseille soap — and our family has made it in the Old City for six generations. Each winter we cook a single season's batch; each bar carries the stamp our great-grandfather first cut into brass.

Every bar begins with the same olive oil base. What sets each grade apart is the share of laurel berry oil — from a gentle everyday bar to our densest reserve.
Pure Olive 0%
Pure olive oil, no laurel — the mildest bar, for babies and sensitive skin.
Rich 10%
A deeper green heart and a fuller laurel scent, for skin and hair alike.
Royal 40%
Our reserve grade, aged longest — dense, dark, and unmistakably laurel.
How it is made
One winter to cook. One year to wait.
Cooked the same way for generations
Olive oil and lye simmer for days in the same kettles our family has always used.
Cut & stamped by hand
Poured across the stone floor, scored into cubes, and struck with the family stamp.
Aged in towers
Stacked in airy towers for nine months or more, until green turns to gold.
